What is a Jr. HOPE Squad?

Jr. HOPE Squad is in our school to provide "HOPE" to everyone. HOPE Stands for "Hold on, Persuade, and Empower."
Jr. HOPE Squad members help others hold on by supporting them, helping them know they have friends, and being with them when they are sad or discouraged. They are someone you can talk to if you are having a difficult time.
Persuade is to help a friend that may need some help but is afraid or embarrassed to ask.
Empower is to help others feel comfortable seeking help when they need it.
Jr. HOPE Squad is here to help our school feel welcome, safe and a place where we can be kind and helpful to each other.
"You've got a friend in us."
