Principal Message

Hello, Holbrook Huskies!

My name is Tara Best and I am honored to be a part of this wonderful community.  This is my third year as the Principal of Hannah Holbrook Elementary.

About me: My family has always placed a great deal of importance on education. I have a love of learning new things and am excited to share that love of learning with Holbrook!

Educational Journey:  I began my career teaching Kindergarten. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, as well as one year as a 1st grade PAL teacher (Primary Advanced Learners). While working as an English Language Arts Coordinator, I learned about early literacy and best practices for reading and writing.

Educational Philosophy: I believe that all children can learn and grow, and with the right resources and mindset, they can truly excel! I hope to provide your children the best environment, resources, and attitude to help them become the best they can be!

I am looking forward to meeting you all. Let’s work together to have a wonderful and memorable year of learning!
