Warm Clothing Drive
Holbrook is hosting a Warm Clothing Drive September 21–October 2! We are collecting gently used clothing to support students in need in our surrounding area.
We are looking for sweatshirts, sweaters, long-sleeve shirts, and warm pants. Please make sure donated items have no holes, stains, or rips.

Husky Hustle is Almost Here!
Come out and support our Holbrook Huskies at the Husky Hustle on October 8 at 5:00 PM! Students and families can run laps, enjoy food, spend time together, and show their Husky pride.Video

Holbrook students are invited to participate in the Davis School District Martin Luther King Jr. Speech Contest!
Students in grades K–6 can share a 1–3 minute excerpt from a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. speech. One student from each grade category will represent Holbrook at the district level.
District Due Date: November 2, 2026

Holbrook Running Club is back! Come start your morning with friends, get moving, enjoy the fall weather, and get ready for the Husky Hustle!
Running Club will meet from 7:45 to 8:30 AM on the back field on September 15, 17, 22, 24, and 29, and October 1 and 6.
Cost is $10 to sign up.

It’s time to get creative, Holbrook Huskies!
PTA Reflections gives students the opportunity to express themselves, share their story, and showcase their creativity through the arts.
This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me,” and we can’t wait to see how our Huskies bring it to life!
Students can submit an original entry in Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Film Production, or Dance Choreography.
Share your ideas, experiences, traditions, and what culture means to you. We can’t wait to see what you create!
Entries are due October 1.

Join us March 16–21 for our school Book Fair. This is a great opportunity for students to discover new books, build their home libraries, and grow their love of reading. We can’t wait to see our Huskies excited about books!

Thank you, Holbrook Huskies! Our Cereal Box Challenge was a huge success. Together we collected 413 boxes of cereal to donate to the Utah Food Bank and help support families in our community. Congratulations to Altruismo for collecting the most with 109 boxes, and a special shoutout to Mrs. Manning’s class for donating the most boxes with 51! A big thank you to our Hope Squad students for organizing and leading this effort. We are so proud of our students and families for showing kindness and generosity.

America is turning 250 — and our students have something to say.
Davis School District is hosting Voices of a Nation: Student Perspectives on 250 Years of America, a districtwide speaking event aligned with America 250 Utah.
Students from every school and grade level are invited to apply to deliver an original speech about America’s past, present or future.
Selected students will receive mentorship and take the stage on May 4, 2026, at the Davis Instructional Services Center in Layton. The event will be professionally produced and live streamed for the community.
You don’t have to be famous to have something worth saying.
Take the mic. Share your idea. Be part of the story.

Our HOPE Squad is kicking off a schoolwide House Competition to support our local food pantry from February 23–27. We invite all Huskies to bring in boxes of cereal, and all donations will be given to our local food pantry. Let’s show our Huskie pride by coming together to serve our community and make a difference!
