Oak Hills celebrated Earth Day with its own nature project. This weekend parents, students, and employees volunteered to help clean up "the oaks" area on the playground. Many hands made the work go quickly as dead wood was hauled away, thorn bushes were removed, and paths were cleared. Thank you to everyone who came to help!

Please join us April 26th from 9:00-10:30 for our semi-annual Oaks Clean-up Day. After a long winter with winds and snow, we have some downed branches and other debris in our Oak Tree area. There are also a few nuisance plants like Russian Olive plants that need to be removed. We are asking for volunteers to come help us clear the Oaks out and make it safer for our students. This is a great service opportunity for our families and Jr. High or High School students who may need service hours. And of course doughnuts will be provided to all who are able to come. If you are able to help, please RSVP at the following link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=dPKcPX5U9UqN3gGmNuC2B9R99RksAp9CjGjnUB6mkTZUNU1ZSUpFUDFBTlpQSks2WVJTUUlOS01FTS4u If you have any questions, please contact the office.

At Oak Hills, our school counselor creates spaces for our staff and students to share good things that are going on. This month of January the challenge is to write something you love about yourself and put it on our snowflake board. Next time you come into our school take a look at the counselor's board and see the great things students and staff are saying about themselves!
